About us

South Ayrshire School Clothing Bank is a small local charity run by volunteers.    When a pupil goes to school in the 'wrong' clothes they can be vulnerable to Social exclusion, bullying, low self-esteem, reduced academic ambitions, and poor mental health.   We aim to tackle these issues at an early stage by helping youngsters to look the same as others, and to be able to walk into school with their heads held high.

We want children to have the best academic, social & sporting opportunities; and to take some of the stress away from their parents or carers.

Our Team

“If you're not making someone else's life better, then you're wasting your time. Your life will become better by making other lives better.”
